Shipping

UK orders use a Standard Delivery Service suitable for your purchase. The service we use will include insurance up to the value of your purchase. Delivery is usually 2 to 5 working days.

UK shipping costs are as follows:

If you buy more than one type of item, the most expensive postage will apply. For example, if you buy 3 chopping boards and a coffee table, the combined postage will be £50. For 2 chopping boards and a set of coasters, postage will be £10.

If your item is in stock, we will do our best to despatch your order within 2 working days of when you place it. In busy times it may take us a little bit longer. If you know you are usually out when the postman calls, you can ask us to send your parcel to a different address when you place your order.

 

Lifetimber ships small items (coasters, jewellery, cufflinks, keyrings) and jewellery boxes to the EU, Norway and Switzerland.

Please email pete@lifetimber.com for an individual quote if you would like any other items delivered to Europe.

Lifetimber endeavours to use recycled and re-used packaging wherever possible. We try not to buy new packaging: instead we will either re-use plastic materials from items we have received in the post, or we will use non-plastic or re-cycled materials to wrap your purchases.

Using our website and placing orders is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Trade which are available here. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns

You have 14 days to decide whether or not to keep your purchases.

You pay the return postage on returned items, which must be in unused condition. To return an item:

  1. Fill in the returns form on the back of your invoice and tell us whether you’d like an exchange or a refund.
  2. Use the following address to label your package:

  3. Send it back via the Post Office or a courier of your choice. Use a tracked and insured service as you are liable for any losses.

  4. Send it back via a courier of your choice. Please use a tracked and insured service as you are liable for any losses.

We can only offer exchanges on a like for like basis. If the item is out of stock you will automatically receive a refund. In addition to our returns policy, under the Distance Selling Regulations, all EU customers have 14 working days (beginning the day after receipt) to cancel your purchase, then an additional 14 days to return it.

Make sure you send a completed returns form with your item: we can’t process your exchange or refund without it!
